How much do you charge?

I am a top designer with over 20 years of experience in the field. I charge my design time per hour, but I always provide my clients with an estimate of hours and a do not exceed cost. This ensures that you are always aware of the cost of your project and that you will not be surprised by any unexpected fees.
The cost of my design services will vary depending on the scope of your project. For example, a small garden in a residential setting would take less time than a large campus master plan for a business. A large campus master plan may include many meetings and design milestones to work with a team to produce a complete architectural design package that will be submitted to the local jurisdiction.

How long does it take to create a Landscape Design?

The timeline for each design will vary depending on the complexity of the project and the specific needs of the client. During our initial design meeting, I will get a better understanding of your project and provide you with an estimate of time. This will allow you to plan accordingly and make sure that your project is completed on time and within budget.

Do you provide a free consultation?

I offer a free consultation so that we can get to know each other and discuss your project in more detail. During our consultation, we will cover the following topics:
  • The scope of your project
  • Your budget
  • Your timeline
  • Your vision
  • Your style
If you don't know the answers to all of these questions, that's okay! I'm here to help you figure it out. Based on our consultation, I will create a style quiz to help you narrow down the look that fits your vision.
I also need some information from you to get your design started. This includes any plot plan or survey, any neighborhood bylaws, and how jealous you want to make your neighbors (just kidding... or maybe not?).

Do you build your designs?

No I am design only. Not all designers are created equal. Some of us specialize in the design process only, which means we can take care of all the details so you can focus on what's important: making the design and building process stylish and easy as possible.
My design process typically includes:
  • A site analysis to understand your needs and goals
  • A preliminary design that we'll revise based on your feedback
  • A final detailed master plan that includes a planting plan, dimensions,  perspectives, a movie or oculus walkthrough of your space.
Once the design is complete, we'll hand it off to you (or a landscape contractor of your choosing) so you can start enjoying Your Landscape Design!
